The aim of this project was to shed light on the issue of early childhood gender-differentiated socialization and gender-specific susceptibility to parenting within families in relation to disruptive behavior in boys and girls in the first four years of life.
This project was funded by an ERC Starting Grant awarded to Judi Mesman in 2009. PhD students Joyce Endendijk, Sheila van Berkel, Liesbeth Hallers, Lotte van der Pol, co-supervised by Marleen Groeneveld and Marian Bakermans-Kranenburg.
